This is traditional house from Java, Indonesia. We call as “Limasan” and Kampung”. This house has been repair with the facade. Long time ago this house used a wooden wall as the front view wall of the house, but that’s wall was broke, so the owner change the wall with brick structure and cladding with ceramic for finished. The owners follow the colonial design style, so the design becomes hybrids style that is combination of traditional house with colonial design. We can look the ornament inside the ceramics, their used flowers and vertical line. With vertical line for composition of façade, this house looks great and strong by follow the line structure from columns structure of the house. This house has two geometric of building concept. If we look the existing site from image, which is “Limasan” house in the left and “Kampung” House in right side. This house looks bigger with a long facade. I think this house needs more ornament or lighting and composition landscape. With all of that, this house becomes beautiful and looks ethnic. We can use the ornament like mailboxes, ponds, exterior chair in the garden and many more. But right know this house was empty, because has been left by the owner. Why this heritage building always left by peoples?, I think we need to discuss about traditional building or heritage building for have protection from government, because this is was the story of our life.

Start Small and Simple

Let us say we were having a bold day and we picked orange for our color scheme. We do not need paintings and artwork that are completely orange. Maybe just one nice piece that is mostly orange, but the rest should just have a little of that color reflected in the work.

Themes, Clashes, and Other Artwork Disasters

Rule number one in overcoming artistic dysfunction is never mix styles and themes in the same room. Some people can naturally get the knack of it and it turns out to be something fabulous. Since we are not so fortunate then we must keep it simple. If your orange room has one lovely impressionist piece in it, then stay with various forms of impressionist artwork throughout the room. Some experts say that you should maintain the same style throughout the entire home. Others say to vary but only room by room. Too much repetition is boredom so it is highly suggested to work room by room in order to avoid boredom.

Some colors work well with others and other colors are an atrocious disaster when blended or even in the same state as another color. I have yet to see a well blended sample of orange and pink, although I am sure some highly creative type compiled them beautifully.

If you are not sure, ask. The best way to learn is by asking questions and gathering ideas from other people. Ask specific questions if you are looking for specific answers. Explain that you are looking for something that will compliment painting well and not necessarily match it, if possible, bring a photo. Part of learning the fine art of decorating with artwork is learning to compliment pieces rather than match them. You do not have to be pushed in purchasing something you do not like, but the experience of watching someone find you a painting that compliments the one you started with can be very beneficial. In fact, after a few tries, you may even begin looking yourself, with confidence. By enhancing your decorating talents step by little tiny baby step, you will be able to put together impressive themes and décor without wasting money on pieces that do not work.

The Name is Bajang Ratu temple, located in the hamlet of Kraton, not far from Tikus temple, is one of Trowulan's principal attractions. The remains consist of an elegant gateway, built from red brick, probably dating from around the mid 14th century.The shape of the building is tall and slender, rising to a height of just over 16 metres.Restoration was completed in 1991.

This place is in Trowulan, Est Java, Indonesia. The one of Red brick has a 20x25 cm size left. This is pure of brick construction without concrete mix and framework steel. We didn't know how to make this sculpture at a long time ago by this empire. This gate still exist until now. This Gate sculpture learn us how to build construction without a framework logic. This building becomes a Kedaung Plaza market by the owner to sell many of ceramics likes glass, Plate, porcelain or earthenware jug and another else. This is an old building colonial facade with two towers. The combination line has a great composition, but when this building becomes renovation, the paint of color can't bring an old taste again to be the great Yogyakarta heritage building.
